Lanquedoc is a semi soft washed rind surface-ripened cheese. It is available in rounds of approx. 250 – 300g. It has a delicate complexity, with milk/meaty notes which present the savoury “bacon & egg” like character. The pâte is very creamy and smooth, ivory colored, with a supple melting texture but pliant consistency. The natural rind varies and has a light covering of fine white mould. The shelf life is approximately six weeks. It will always be a limited edition.
